Although I hold a degree in photography, my artistic approach is marked by a willingness to explore unconventional techniques, combine digital manipulation and mixed media, and push the limits of traditional photography. My love for the darkroom began during my university years when I made my first cyanotype print and realised I had found my true calling. I then decided to start experimenting with different printing processes guided by one of the greatest artists in the field, Ian Philips McLaren.
It's been a gradual realisation but, looking back, I've understood that all my projects and photographs are deeply rooted in the concept of the passing of time. Whether capturing objects laden with memories or documenting the effects of weather and the use of materials, I find it fascinating to witness the evolution of our surroundings over time. There's a poignant beauty in the way objects age, accumulating stories and experiences along the way, and it's this exploration of the temporal nature of existence that continues to inspire and drive my work.
