Beki Cowey - Out of the Dark.. Into the Bright.

Colour: the science of how light punches us in the eye and the gut response it elicits. Those responses can be deeply personal and emotive. When I started out in photography, after dropping out from my fashion studies to shoot friends’ bands on tour, I’d say 90% of what I did, I intended to be black and white. Maybe it was the early digital rendering of colour, but more likely it was because of the vision I wanted to create.
